Service / GEO & AEO
Get quoted by
the answer engines.
A growing share of buying research never reaches a blue link. Someone asks an assistant who does storm cleanup near Tupelo, and a short list comes back. GEO and AEO are the work of making sure your business is a source those systems can identify, trust, and quote correctly.
What's included
Entity foundation
One consistent identity across your site, schema, profile, and third-party mentions — connected with stable @id relationships so machines resolve you as one business.
Answer-shaped content
Pages that state the answer plainly before elaborating, with the specifics — coverage area, process, constraints — models need to cite you accurately.
Structured data
Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, Breadcrumb, and FAQ markup that mirrors visible content rather than inventing it.
Source-worthy detail
Real pricing logic, real process, real service radius. Vague marketing copy gives an assistant nothing to quote.
Crawlability for AI agents
Server-rendered HTML, clean robots rules, and fast responses so retrieval systems can read the page in the first place.
Citation monitoring
Periodic prompt testing across major assistants to see whether you appear, and how you are described.
How we work
- 01
Prompt baseline
We run the questions your customers would actually ask an assistant and record who gets named today.
- 02
Entity cleanup
Conflicting names, addresses, and descriptions reconciled across site, schema, and profile.
- 03
Content rebuild
Priority pages rewritten to answer directly, with the concrete facts that make citation possible.
- 04
Retest
Re-run the same prompts on a schedule and track movement alongside conventional rankings.
Standards
- Schema always mirrors visible page content
- No fabricated statistics, awards, or review counts
- Server-rendered pages so metadata exists in the initial HTML
- Prompt testing documented before and after
- Runs alongside conventional SEO, not instead of it
Questions
What is the difference between GEO and AEO?
AEO — answer engine optimization — is about being the source that answers a direct question, including AI Overviews and featured snippets. GEO — generative engine optimization — is broader: being retrievable and quotable by generative assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. In practice the underlying work overlaps heavily, so we run them as one service.
Does this replace SEO?
No. Assistants largely retrieve from the same indexed web. A site that is fast, well structured, and genuinely authoritative is the prerequisite. GEO and AEO are the layer that makes that authority machine-readable.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my business?
No, and anyone guaranteeing that is selling something. Assistant outputs vary by prompt, location, and model version. What we can do is remove the technical and factual reasons you get skipped, then measure the change across a fixed prompt set.
Does this matter for a small local business?
Increasingly, yes — local recommendation queries are one of the most common assistant use cases. A North Mississippi contractor with clean entity data and specific service-area content is often easier to cite than a larger competitor with vague copy.
